Charlie Bishop is a performance artist living in New Orleans. He received his Phd from Duke University in 1970, and taught on the faculty of the English Department at the University of New Orleans until his retirement. Danella Hero is an independent television producer, director and writer living in New Orleans.
Andrei Codrescu was born in Romania in 1946 and has published numerous books of poetry and prose. He has been a commentator for National Pubic Radio, has received a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and the Pushcart Prize, and teaches at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Debra Howell received her BA from Bryn Mawr College in 1979 and her MFA from Tulane University in 1983. Her work can be seen at www.debrahowell.com
Jan Gilbert was born in New Orleans, received a BA from the University of New Orleans in 1980 and an MFA from Tulane University in 1982. Her work can be seen at www.jangilbertart.com Kristen Struebing-Beazley received her BA from the University of Maryland in 1975 and her MFA from Tulane University in 1982. She presently resides in Boston, MA
